Terms of use
These terms cover your use of sylo.technology and the scoping form on it. They are between you and Sylo Technology LLC, a Florida limited liability company, which we refer to as Sylo, we and us. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
What the site is for
The site describes what we do and lets you describe a project and book an intro call. Nothing on it is an offer to build anything, and nothing on it is advice. A project starts only when both of us sign a project agreement.
The scoping form
When you submit the scoping form you confirm that you are entitled to share what you wrote, that it does not include anyone else's personal information, and that you are at least 18. We treat what you submit as confidential and handle it under our privacy policy.
Use the form to describe a project. Do not use it to send bulk mail, to probe the site, or to submit anything you have no right to send. We accept 5 submissions an hour from one source and refuse the rest.
Project agreements
The price, scope, timing, intellectual property and liability for a project are set by the project agreement for that project, not by these terms. Where the two differ, the project agreement wins. Prices shown on this site are indicative until they appear in a signed agreement.
Content on the site
The text, design and code of the site belong to Sylo or to the people who licensed them to us. You may read it and link to it. You may not republish the case studies or the blog posts commercially without asking, and we usually say yes.
Availability and accuracy
We try to keep the site accurate and available and we promise neither. It is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We may change or remove any part of it at any time.
The case studies describe real engagements, and each one is published with the permission of the customer named in it.
Descriptions of past work, and the figures in them, are illustrative. They are not a promise of what a project of yours would cost, take or achieve.
To the extent the law allows, Sylo is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or from anything you relied on here, and our total liability for everything connected with the site is limited to [[LIABILITY_CAP]]. Some states do not allow every exclusion in this section, so part of it may not apply to you.
Governing law and where disputes go
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute about them goes to the state courts sitting in Pinellas County, Florida or to the federal courts for the Middle District of Florida, and both of us submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes
We will change these terms when the site changes. The date at the top is the date of the last change.
