About

Who builds your software

Sylo is two founding engineers in Orlando, USA who build software for businesses and government, with a named engineer accountable for every line.

Why we work this way

Small team, whole projects

We started Sylo in 2026 because the software most businesses and agencies need is not large. It is a form, a queue, a board and a report, built to fit one operation and handed over so that operation owns it.

AI-assisted development changed what a small team can deliver in two weeks. It did not change who is accountable. On every project a named engineer reads every change before it merges, and that name is on the record you inherit.

We disqualify ourselves early. If a project is not the right shape for us, we say so on the first call rather than scoping it anyway.

Private and government

One process, two sets of paperwork

The build runs the same way for a business and an agency; what differs is settled in discovery.

business

For businesses

Operational software for the process your team already runs on paper, phones and spreadsheets.
  • A fixed-price discovery, then two-week increments you can stop at any demo
  • Repository and cloud account in your name from the start
  • A runbook your own team can operate from
government

For government

The same process, with the paperwork and the controls an agency needs settled before any build work starts.
  • Built in your own cloud tenancy, in the region you require, with your security team reviewing the design
  • Audit trail on every change and every case
  • Purchasing under a direct-purchase threshold or your own contract vehicle, settled in discovery
